Rev. Denson received her call to ministry as a young adult, and with full surrender she answered the call to preach in 2003. She finds great passion and profound joy in preaching and teaching the Gospel. “Who will go for us? Here I am Lord, send me…” is a living testimony and is reflected in the witness of Rev. Denson. She was licensed to preach in 2007; she was ordained as deacon in April 2012; and became an ordained clergy in April 2015. Rev. Denson is a gifted preacher, teacher and role model for reaching children and women. She has a passionate heart for seeing that children and women reach their full potential in Christ. Rev. Creative Arts/Liturgical Dance Ministry (consisting of youth, women and men of all ages); written ‘Playwrights’, and ‘Spoken Word’. Her concerns are for the marginalized and disenfranchised in our society. She believes the Church must be the strong voice for the community in which it dwells…to empower God’s people by teaching, equipping and doing the ministry of Matthew 25:35-40…
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (NIV)
